A personal memory journal

Everything that made you… you.

You are the sum of your past experiences, and yet... on a moment’s notice, so little of it easily comes back.

That’s not your memory failing. Forgetting is a feature of the brain, not a bug, and remembering is something you can get better at. That’s where Florimel enters the scene. It gently helps you resurface your past, then gives you a calm place to lock it before it slips away again.

The Florimel timeline: a vertical thread of life periods, each with its years, place and the people who mattered.
Your life as a vertical timeline of periods, the app’s home surface.
How does it help you?

Open a window to your past.

First, write down whatever’s on your mind.

A memory, a name, a place. Type it or say it out loud; a few lines is plenty.

Then, it helps you build the scaffolding of your life.

The places you lived in and which years. In minutes you have your timeline for everything else to land into.

Once done, you can settle into one period.

Florimel asks gentle, targeted questions about that bit of life, and things you thought gone begin to surface.

Come back, and back again.

Memories are not like files in a folder that you can pull out. They need time and repeated visits to come out. Florimel recommends which one and when to revisit and enrich them.

Grab clues from the outside world.

Sync your old calendar, check the songs you loved on Spotify or Last.fm, bring pictures, addresses into the mix... The traces you already own become doors back in.

A caution we build around

Memories are recreated, not recalled.

Memories aren't stored as we remember them... Every act of remembering actually rebuilds the past and sometimes a leading suggestion can quietly alter it. That is why Florimel cues you only with your own words, returned exactly as you wrote them, keeps every prompt open and neutral and never writes a memory for you. And I don’t remember is always a complete, respected answer.

Inside Florimel

There’s more than one way back.

Everyone’s memory has its own keys. Yours might be a song, a photo, an old calendar, or a name you haven’t thought about in years... so we built a door for each. You’ll find the ones that work for you.

The facts conversation

We ask one small question at a time: who was around, what a normal day looked like... Ordinary details, because they turn out to be the reliable keys.

Era Soundtrack

The music of those years, playable while you write. Press play and see what surfaces; a song rarely comes back alone.

Echoes

Something you mentioned in passing comes back as a soft invitation, in your own words. Nothing opens your memory quite like your own phrasing.

Capture

Memories love to show up on a walk, in a queue... and be gone by evening. Open Capture, say or type a few lines, done.

Look back

Before showing you your own words, we let you reach for them first. No marks, no score; the reaching is what makes them stay.

Paper Trail

Your old calendars are full of doors. Walk them one entry at a time: make one a chapter, write what it stirs, or let it go.

Constellation

Every person and place you mention becomes a point you can open. A name will often unlock a scene no date ever could.

The Rhythm

So much of a life is rhythms: the commute, the Sunday call... We keep them, then use them to find the days that broke the pattern.
